Our Service:

Sheenhonour (2009) Charitable Foundation was established in 2009 as an official non-profit charity organization (Registration number: 91/12103).

 Sheenhonour (2009) Charitable Foundation has been committed to providing a free consultation for Chinese medicine, aiming to serve elderly and those in need, providing medical services by a certified Chinese medicine doctor. Tradition Chinese cupping therapy, accupuncture and moxibustion therapy are also available.

Our Objective:

1. Helping the poors and the eldery, not involved in politics.

2. Guiding more people to participate in voluntary work of our organization.

3. Alleviating the pain and diseases of people who are in need by providing free-of-charge Tradition Chinese Medicine (TCM) consultation and medicine.

4. Coordinating with the government departments and the local community. Helping people who are in need.

5. Managing through the Executive Board (Executive Committee), promoting the social welfare of the people of Hong Kong in a lawful manner and at the appropriate time.

6. Sponsoring the charity events of our organization as much as possible. Sharing the profit and property of the organization by the members is strictly prohibited.

Our Name :

The name of our organization in Chinese character‘中和’is derived from The Doctrine of the Mean (Chinese: 中庸, is both a doctrine of Confucianism and also the title of one of the Four Books of Confucian philosophy.

“中”means bent neither one way or another, and “庸”represents unchanging.

The goal of the mean is to maintain balance and harmony from directing the mind to a state of constant equilibrium. The person who follows the mean is on a path of duty and must never leave it. He or she always does what is natural according to his or her status in the world.

‘中’: when there is no emotional fluctuation, our mind and heart is always calm and with no bias.

‘和’means that even after the emotions or feelings fluctuate, we have adjusted to the mean in place.

‘中’includes the nature of everything while ‘和’is the path that we are moving on.

If every of us would be able to follow the nature of everything and moving in the same direction, the planet can be on the right track and everything can be well grown. 

Our Prospects :

We will hope to further expand the existing Chinese medical services, so that more people who are in need can enjoy the free consultation fees of Chinese medicine services and people would have better understanding of Sheenhonour (2009) Charitable Foundation.

Sheenhonour (2009) Charitable Foundation plans to open center for the elderly, establishing the non-profit-recreation rooms, organizing various activities and interest groups, to expand the scope of activities and services, and actively contribute to the community.

In order to fulfill the needs of future development, Sheenhonour (2009) Charitable Foundation is preparing to establish a larger venue space, hoping to provide a wide range of social services. Targeted location will be at the East Kowloon district. We are coordinating with the Government departments and hoping to be offered a low-rent vacant unit.
